Two new mixes!!

As I was recently working on my latest mix I received a request for some gym music, so I very enthusiastically whipped up an upbeat, fun exercise mix to deliver. I wanted to make sure that it was available to anyone who might like a copy so feel free to request one by simply emailing me or commenting a request below (if I already have your address info).

Also... my sister Heather has managed to get me hooked on the show Deadwood and as I am wrapping up season one here I decided to create an Ode to Deadwood mix. It's a mix filled with banjo, fiddle, guitar fingerpicking, harmonica and plenty of tunes about gambling, gunfights and rough & rowdy ways. If that sounds up your alley then please request a copy.

As I stated before I'm currently working on a wintry, instrumental mix. I'll be getting that out soon but I just had to get these other two mixes out first given the spontaneous nature in which they were created.

a new mix is brewing

I hope those of you who requested the "2009 Rewind" mix are enjoying it. I'm fast at work on the next mix which will be a winter storm soundtrack of sorts. I'm hoping to get that one out in the next few weeks. Feel free to put in an early request for that one. Check back for updates as this next mix is well under way.

December, err..January mix

The holidays kept the Dec mix shelved so alas it has been a tad delayed. But it is nearly done. Like I said before it's a look back at my favorite stuff from 2009. If you'd like a copy, simply email me at themixaur(at)gmail.com and I'll send one out to you.

I'm in the tweaking stage of the December mix at the moment. It's shaping up to be a look back at some of my favorite tunes of the past year. Should be pretty good stuff. Mixes are nearing completion

Hey all, Just want to let you know that the mixes are nearly finished and I'm still on track to mail them out next week. I think they sound pretty solid. I'm mostly just tweaking here and there at this point. The French mix is very much a syrupy smooth Port, whereas the British mix has more of a shot and a pint kind of feel. November Mix in progress

The November mix is in production! I'm heading to London for Thanksgiving and I'm very excited, so I've decided to make a British mix before I go. Since I'm also spending a day in Paris I've also decided to take a stab at a French mix as well. My collection of French music is quite small but so far I'm pleased with the results. I'm planning on getting this double disc mix out to any interested takers by Thanksgiving so if you're interested in copies feel free to email me and request a copy.
