An April Update

I hope those of you who received the March mix are enjoying it. I have a new mix in the works to be released in late April at some point. It's going to be a mix of some new stuff but also several older artists whom I've been listening to quite a bit these days. Additionally, a friend has requested a delta blues mix from me and so I'm putting the finishing touches on that one right now. If you would like a copy, let me know. I hope everyone is enjoying spring!

Those of you who requested the March mix should see it in your mailboxes before the weekend. I hope you all enjoy it! It's kind of like my "plea for spring" mix. As per usual I'm well underway on the next one. A total hodgepodge mix that should be out in April. Keep checking back and happy listening!

Marching Onward

I'm in the tinkering stage of the upcoming mix which means it should be mailing out in the next two weeks or so. With a few exceptions, it's a very mellow sounding mix. I've got all sorts of different ideas brewing for upcoming mixes so stay tuned. I'll post shortly once I've mailed it to the people who would like a copy. Two new mixes!!

As I was recently working on my latest mix I received a request for some gym music, so I very enthusiastically whipped up an upbeat, fun exercise mix to deliver. I wanted to make sure that it was available to anyone who might like a copy so feel free to request one by simply emailing me or commenting a request below (if I already have your address info).

Also... my sister Heather has managed to get me hooked on the show Deadwood and as I am wrapping up season one here I decided to create an Ode to Deadwood mix. It's a mix filled with banjo, fiddle, guitar fingerpicking, harmonica and plenty of tunes about gambling, gunfights and rough & rowdy ways. If that sounds up your alley then please request a copy.

As I stated before I'm currently working on a wintry, instrumental mix. I'll be getting that out soon but I just had to get these other two mixes out first given the spontaneous nature in which they were created.

I hope those of you who requested the "2009 Rewind" mix are enjoying it. I'm fast at work on the next mix which will be a winter storm soundtrack of sorts. I'm hoping to get that one out in the next few weeks. Feel free to put in an early request for that one. Check back for updates as this next mix is well under way.

December, err..January mix

The holidays kept the Dec mix shelved so alas it has been a tad delayed. But it is nearly done. Like I said before it's a look back at my favorite stuff from 2009. If you'd like a copy, simply email me at themixaur(at)gmail.com and I'll send one out to you.
