The trilogy mix is in the mail!

The Sex, Drugs & Rock n' Roll triple mix is in the mail. It's a silly concept mix that was quite fun to put together. There were some definite carryover artists, which I thought actually helped tie the three themes together. The Rock mix was slightly different then the other two in that it was a little more vague in theme and more about songs with kickass drums and guitar going on. That mix was just a snippet of rock, and there were some great bands that didn't make the mix. I certainly think that Jimi Hendrix, the Pixies, U2, the Who, the Rolling Stones, etc., all rock despite their omission, but as always there's only so much space on a mix. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the new tunes! I'm definitely gonna be putting out a two disc best of 2010 mix, but beyond that I'll just have to see what comes up. stay tuned...

I've been on hiatus with a long vacation followed by a grueling apt move, but I am still slowly working on the next mix. I'll get it out here soon. Stay tuned...

May Mix is Mailed!

The May mix is in the mail. A few weeks ago it was shaping up to be pretty good but I've really added some quality tracks and dropped some of the weaker stuff and now I'm really pleased with the result. It covers a fairly wide range musically and has both old and new stuff so it's pretty traditional mix-wise. I have some theme mixes coming up this summer so keep checking back for those. To those people who picked up a copy of the latest mix, enjoy the tunes!

Early May mix

I'm finishing up a mix that is a pretty random bunch of tunes that I've been listening to a lot lately that just don't have a home mix wise. So I'm just compiling them all together into a mix of misfit tracks so to speak. Uptempo, downtempo, new, old. The tracks are too good (in my opinion) to be left by the wayside though so I'm finishing up this spring compilation and will have it ready to ship very soon. An April Update

I hope those of you who received the March mix are enjoying it. I have a new mix in the works to be released in late April at some point. It's going to be a mix of some new stuff but also several older artists whom I've been listening to quite a bit these days. Additionally, a friend has requested a delta blues mix from me and so I'm putting the finishing touches on that one right now. If you would like a copy, let me know. I hope everyone is enjoying spring!

March mix is in the mail!

Those of you who requested the March mix should see it in your mailboxes before the weekend. I hope you all enjoy it! It's kind of like my "plea for spring" mix. As per usual I'm well underway on the next one. A total hodgepodge mix that should be out in April. Keep checking back and happy listening!

Marching Onward

I'm in the tinkering stage of the upcoming mix which means it should be mailing out in the next two weeks or so. With a few exceptions, it's a very mellow sounding mix. I've got all sorts of different ideas brewing for upcoming mixes so stay tuned. I'll post shortly once I've mailed it to the people who would like a copy. Two new mixes!!

As I was recently working on my latest mix I received a request for some gym music, so I very enthusiastically whipped up an upbeat, fun exercise mix to deliver. I wanted to make sure that it was available to anyone who might like a copy so feel free to request one by simply emailing me or commenting a request below (if I already have your address info).

Also... my sister Heather has managed to get me hooked on the show Deadwood and as I am wrapping up season one here I decided to create an Ode to Deadwood mix. It's a mix filled with banjo, fiddle, guitar fingerpicking, harmonica and plenty of tunes about gambling, gunfights and rough & rowdy ways. If that sounds up your alley then please request a copy.

As I stated before I'm currently working on a wintry, instrumental mix. I'll be getting that out soon but I just had to get these other two mixes out first given the spontaneous nature in which they were created.

a new mix is brewing

I hope those of you who requested the "2009 Rewind" mix are enjoying it. I'm fast at work on the next mix which will be a winter storm soundtrack of sorts. I'm hoping to get that one out in the next few weeks. Feel free to put in an early request for that one. Check back for updates as this next mix is well under way.

December, err..January mix
